Most people know Aéromé for the diffusers that scent hotel lobbies and living rooms. Scentitude takes that same obsession with fragrance and makes it personal: six perfumes you wear instead of place in a room. If you're new to the range, here's a quick tour of each one and the kind of person it tends to suit. Prices start from Rs. 999.
Greek God
Greek God is the bright one. It opens with lemon, pineapple and bergamot, with apple and cassis keeping things crisp. Jasmine and rose soften the middle, and smoky birch and patchouli sit underneath. It smells clean without being dull, so it's a sensible first pick if you don't own a perfume you love yet.
Wood of Calm
Creamy sandalwood is the heart of Wood of Calm. A little citrus and cardamom lift the opening, and it dries down to amber, dry woods and musk. It's quiet on purpose. If you like a scent that people notice only when they lean in, this is the one.
Rose Emotion
Pear, litchi and bergamot make the first few minutes of Rose Emotion light and juicy, then a full Turkish rose takes over. White musk, softwoods and Haitian vetiver keep it from turning sugary. It's romantic, but not in a greeting-card way.
Red Gold
Red Gold starts with apple, geranium and saffron, then moves into red rose, jasmine and patchouli. Amber, moss, plum and orris finish it off. It's the richest of the florals and the one we'd reach for on an evening out, or at a wedding.
Naked Vanilla
Marshmallow and pear open Naked Vanilla, and then the vanilla arrives properly. What stops it being one-note is the jasmine, violet and a touch of leather, with amber, sandalwood and tonka bean underneath. It's sweet, but it has some backbone.
Lion
Lion opens with pink pepper, lavender and leather. Leatherwood, hyssop and coriander bring heat in the middle, and the base is agarwood, patchouli, oakmoss, cashmere warmth and amber, with a faint animalic edge. It's the boldest perfume in the range, so it suits people who like to be noticed.
Where to start
If you can't decide, Greek God for daytime and Lion or Red Gold for evenings covers most situations. If you'd rather try before committing to a full bottle, we've written up how to choose a perfume with a Discovery Pack. Or browse the whole Scentitude collection.
