Coils, sprays and liquid vaporisers do the job for plenty of people, but they can leave a strong smell or a residue behind. Noquito takes a different route: a plug-in device built around natural essential oils. If you're thinking about one, here's what we can tell you about it.
How it works day to day
Noquito is plug-and-play. You plug it in and leave it. It's silent and there's no mess, and the design is meant to sit unobtrusively in a modern home instead of looking like a gadget.
What's in it
The formula uses 11 natural essential oils. It's free of DEET, parabens and phthalates, and it's described as child-safe, pet-safe and non-toxic. That's a big part of why people choose it for bedrooms and children's rooms, where a harsh-smelling coil feels like the wrong answer.
Where it fits
Bedrooms, kids' rooms and living areas are the obvious spots. It also works nicely alongside a fragrance setup: you might use Ivaa Xperia for scent and Noquito for protection, each doing its own job.
Refills
When the oil runs low, the Noquito refill pack means you don't need a new device. Our refill guide shows how all of our refills fit together.
One practical note
As with anything you use at home, follow the instructions that come with the device and the refill. If anyone in your family has allergies or a sensitivity to essential oils, it's sensible to check with a doctor first.
You'll find Noquito in the For Home collection.
